Andrea Bocelli comes back to Romania next year

Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will come back to Romania in the summer of 2017, with two concerts to be held in Bucharest’s Constitutiei Square (June 22) and on Cluj Arena in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania on June 25.

The first part of the concerts will be dedicated to famous world opera airs and in the second part the tenor will perform new songs on his latest albums, “Cinema” and “Romanza- the 20th anniversary edition”.

“Cinema” album is celebrating some of the best film song collections from such movies as „Doctor Zhivago”, „Love Story”, „ The Godfather”, „ Life is Beautiful”, „ Gladiator”, „ The Postman”, „ Breakfast at Tiffany’s”, but also famous songs from musicals like „ West Side Story” and „Evita”.

To mark 20 years since its release, a special edition of the ‘Romanza’ bestseller album was launched this autumn. Considered the best-sold Italian album of all times, the special edition includes two new versions of „Con Te Partiro/ Time To Say Goodbye”, as well as versions of „Vivere”, „Vivo Per Lei”, „Miserere” and „Romanza”.

Tickets for the gig in Constitutiei Square, Bucharest can be bought through Eventim for six price categories (RON 250, RON 350, RON 450, RON 550, RON 650, RON 750 and RON 950).

The tickets for the concert in Cluj are available through Eventim at RON 145, RON 255, RON 355, RON 455, RON 555 and RON 675.

Andrea Bocelli, born 22 September 1958, is an Italian classical crossover tenor, recording artist, and singer-songwriter. Born with poor eyesight, he became permanently blind at the age of 12 following a football accident.

Bocelli has recorded fifteen solo studio albums, of both pop and classical music, three greatest hits albums, and nine complete operas, selling over 80 million records worldwide. He has had success as a crossover performer bringing classical music to the top of international pop charts. The artist was awarded a star on the Walk of Fame in Los Angeles in 2010.
