Béjart Ballet Lausanne back in Bucharest this weekend, two Romanian ballerinas to perform in the shows

The famous Béjart Ballet Lausanne is coming back to Bucharest, Romania with two premiere performances of contemporary ballet at Sala Palatului on October 12 and October 13, Tous les hommes presque toujours s’imaginent and 7 Danses Grecques.
Two Romanian ballerinas are to perform as well: Oana Cojocaru and Bianca Stoicheciu.

Oana Cojocaru has been part of the Bejart Ballet Lausanne since 2007. She performed in Maurice Bejart’s latest show, Le Tour du Monde en 80 Minutes, but also in other performances of the company such as Casino des Esprits, Aria, Syncope, t ‘M et variations and Tous les Hommes presque toujours s‘imaginent. 

Bianca Stoicheciu was ballerina of the National Opera of Bucharest and joined Bejart Ballet Lausanne in 2017, dancing in such productions as Dixit, Un cygne d’autrefois se souvient que c’est lui, The Magic Flute, Brel et Barbara and Nutcracker.

Tickets for the performances in Bucharest this weekend are available for the following prices: RON 150, RON 200, RON 260, RON 320 and RON 440 (VIP category), and can be purchased on www.eventim.ro, and through the Eventim network (Germanos, Vodafone, Carrefour stores,  Humanitas and Cărtureşti bookstores and Diverta) or at Sala Palatului’s booking office.

The Béjart Ballet Lausanne is a Swiss ballet company based in the city of Lausanne at the Lausanne Opera, but which is touring other countries.

The Béjart Ballet Lausanne was founded in 1987 by Maurice Bejart, a renowned choreographer who had previously founded and managed the Ballet of the 20th Century in Brussels. As of 2007, Gil Roman is the artistic director.
