I will be there together with Dragoș Apetri, one of the editors of the film, and I am curious about meeting the audience of this festival,” said director Vlad Petri.

The film, built exclusively from archive images, follows the fictional story, but inspired by the files from the Securitate (the former communist secret police), of two women separated by two revolutions – Maria (voice – Victoria Stoiciu) and Zahra (voice – Ilinca Hărnăuț). This happens through the letters imagined by the writer Lavinia Braniște, especially for this project. Lavinia is the author of the novels “Interior Zero” and “Sonia raises her hand” (both novels won the Thoreau Nephew Award for the best prose book of the year), as well as the Rostogol series of children’s books.
