Guided tours in several Bucharest districts are kicking off as of next week in an initiative to support the Capital’s candidature for the 2021 European Cultural Capital title. The tours are due every weekend by mid July. The project meant to rediscover Bucharest is supported by the Romanian Association for Culture, Education and Normality (ARCEN), “My beloved Bucharest” association, Make a Point and Zeppelin.
ARCEN is providing “Bucharest-2021, cultural pedestrian tour” on June 26, July 3 and July 10, starting 7 p.m.
“My beloved Bucharest” association is offering tours at Foisorul de Foc- Avrig, Politehnica-Basarab, Chiajna Monastery, Bazilescu district on June 20 and 27 and on July 4 and 11.
Make a Point is proposing tours to rediscover Pantelimon district on June 21 and 28, on July 5 and 12, from 10:00 to 12:30.
Zeppelin Association will introduce visitors the industrial architecture in the Carol Park neighborhood on June 25 and July 19, starting 10 a.m.
