Bucharest Christmas Shopping follows the example of other European capitals like Vienna, Prague, Paris or Brussels which are famous for their Christmas fairs and markets with tempting offers.
This year, the largest shopping but also fun fair is to be held in Bucharest at Romexpo. During 21 days, Bucharesters and tourists will be able to shop within the largest exhibition-borough ever organized in the Romanian capital.
Over 500 exhibitors from all interest areas will show off Romanian traditional crafts, artisan deco, clothing, toys and all sorts of food products. The fair offers the visitors the opportunity of buying products at producers’ prices, tax free and with sensible discounts applied.
The grand opening will be on Romania’s National Day (December 1st) and will be celebrated in a traditional manner including Romanian food, wine, plum brandy and folkloric dances.
In the last three days of the fair, namely December 19 – 21, visitors will be able to acquire the best Christmas gifts during the night, until 2 am. Discounts up to 70 per cent will be applied to many products.
