Classix Festival 2024 – the contemporary classic adventure kicks off in Iasi

The fifth edition of the Classix festival started on February 18 in Iasi with the “Celestial” concert, held at the Roman Catholic Cathedral “Holy Virgin Mary, Queen” in Iasi. The opening event of the festival gathered an audience of over 1,500 people, to which were added the 10,000 spectators who watched the live broadcasts broadcast on the organizers’ pages.
During the press conference held on the morning of February 19, Patricia Brohanschi – Classix Festival Director stated: “We are honored by the public’s enthusiasm and desire to experience the proposed contemporary classical adventure, especially since this is also the artistic theme of this year – the discoverydesires. We all felt this since last night, at the debut concert of Classix in the Roman Catholic Cathedral, which attracted the largest number of spectators to date. The entire festival promises a record number of visitors anyway, with some of the evenings already #soldout. We are looking forward with joy to the week ahead and we are excitedly waiting for the concerts that will be performed by the exceptional international artists and the related activities in the program of this edition.”
Classix Festival takes place in Iași, between February 18 and 25, 2024, and subscriptions and tickets have been put on sale online. Classix Festival 2024, is dominated by the concept dedicated to the “discovery of desire”, and this year’s theme invites culture lovers to join in a personal and introspective journey, encouraging them to explore the multidimensional nature of desire in the world of classical music, from the most subtle form, to passionate exuberance. Classix Festival promotes interdisciplinarity and the fusion of arts and all concerts become a proof of the harmony between music and visual experience provided by video projections and lighting design.
