Coldplay band members, for a walk on Lipscani before the first gig in Bucharest

The members of the British band Coldplay, who will hold their first concert in Bucharest on Wednesday evening, at the National Arena, walked on Lipscani, in the Capital’s Old Town. They published on their Instagram account a video with one of the street artists.

During their walk on Lipscani, the Coldplay musicians filmed and posted on Instagram images of one of the street performers, who was singing “Caruso” by Lucio Dalla.
Coldplay’s Music Of The Spheres World Tour arrives on Wednesday evening, for the first time, at the National Arena, and the second concert of the British musicians will take place on Thursday. Approximately 50,000 fans will be in the stadium over the two evenings.
Maisie Peters (UK) and Emaa (Ro) will perform at the opening, announce the organizers Emagic and Live Nation.
The two Coldplay concerts in Bucharest broke all records, marking the fastest sell-out for stadium shows in the history of live music in Romania.
Coldplay, set up in 1996, is one of the most successful bands of the new millennium and consists of Chris Martin, Jon Buckland, Guy Berryman and Will Champion. The British group has released seven studio albums, which have sold more than 80 million copies worldwide. The band won numerous awards, including seven Grammy trophies.
