Depeche Mode returns to Romania in 2017 to perform in Cluj-Napoca within Global Spirit Tour to promote their latest album, “Spirit”, to be released in spring next year. The gig in Romania is due on July 23.
The announcement was made in a press conference held by the band members in Milan, a conference broadcast live on Facebook and the official Depeche Mode website.
Global Spirit Tour will start on Stockholm’s Friends Arena in Sweden on May 5 and will end on July 23 with the show on Cluj Arena. The famous band will also perform in Belgium, France, Slovenia, Greece, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, UK, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Ukraine and Poland.
The tour will also include shows in North America and South America.
The tickets for the Cluj gig will be put up for sale at www.eventim.ro, as of October 21 this year, but they will be also available in the partner stores later on, informed Emagic, the organizers of the DM performance in Romania.
The 18th tour of the band brings the first live shows after the success of the Delta Machine Tour, one of the largest and best sold ones in 2013, which brought Depeche Mode in front of over 2.5 million fans within sold-out shows in Europe in North America.
