Enescu Festival 2015 subscriptions, sold out in record time

Subscriptions for the 22nd edition of the “George Enescu” International Festival, which have been put up for sale on Thursday morning at 10.00 in Eventim network, were sold out in 10 seconds for the concerts at the Romanian Athenaeum, respectively in 10 minutes for the performances at the Palace Hall.

In total, 250 subscriptions have been put up for sale for each of the two types of subscriptions from the Romanian Athenaeum (B and C), representing one third of the available seats.

Compared to the previous editions of the festival, the coming up with new types of subscriptions (A1 and A2) has facilitated the sale of a greater number of seats.

The procedure of putting up for sale the subscriptions to Enescu Festival 2015 has started on Thursday at 10:00, through Eventim network. Before the sale’s start, on www.eventim.ro there were nearly 1,000 users logged in.

“From the traffic recorded on the Eventim website, the demand was approximately 10 times higher than the available seats,” stated in a release Eventim director, Valentin Vasiloiu, according to Agerpres.

The tickets for the 2015 edition of Enescu Festival, which will take place between August 30 and September 20 in Bucharest, will be put up for sale on February 16 starting 10 am, through Eventim network.

Approximately 2,500 foreign artists and 500 Romanian artists will participate at the 2015 edition of the “George Enescu” International Festival, the most important international cultural event organized in Romania and the strongest promoter of the works and values of the only Romanian composer joining the World Patrimony – George Enescu.

The 2015 edition will take place between August 30 and September 20 at the Palace Hall and at the Romanian Athenaeum in Bucharest, and will host, for 22 days, 58 indoor concerts and many other outdoor events at “The Festival’s Square”, which will be held from September 3 to 20, and within the “Creative Bucharest”.
