The results of the most recent European Commission survey of satisfaction with cultural facilities indicate that in 2015, in 20 capital cities in the European Union (EU), over 75 % of respondents were satisfied with the cultural facilities available, such as concert halls, theatres, museums and libraries, Eurostat informs.
The four EU capitals with 90 % or more of respondents stating satisfaction were Wien (97 %), Helsinki (94 %), Prague and Stockholm (both 90 %). Those with less than 60 % of respondents satisfied were Lisbon (59 %), Lefkosia (58 %) and Valletta (34 %).
A 70-88% satisfaction rate is recorded in Amsterdam, Tallinn and Reykjavik (all 88%), Berlin, Luxembourg and Riga (all 87%), Dublin, Paris and Zagreb (all 85%), Vilnius and Warsaw (84%), Brussels (83%), Budapest and Ljubljana (82%), London (77%), Bratislava (76%), Sofia and Bucharest (70%), the same source informs.
