An exhibition dedicated to the photographers affected by the Colectiv fire will go on display at Filipescu-Cesianu House in Bucharest from December 8 to 31, aiming at paying a tribute to those who lost their lives in this tragedy and at supporting the injured ones.
The exhibition, entitled “#FIND_US-Exhibition in the memory of Colectiv photographers” will have the varnishing day on December 8, at 6 p.m. at the above-mentioned venue, 151 Calea Victoriei.
“The photographers present at the Colectiv club were part of a united group, attending together most of the concerts in Bucharest and across the country (Roger Waters, Robbie Williams, André Rieu, AC&DC, Bon Jovi, Rockstadt Extreme Fest, ArtMania, Electric Castle, Hellfest in France are only some examples). They were linked both through professional affinities and through friendship (…),” reads the event’s Facebook page.
Part of these photographers died, the aim of the display being to pay homage to their work.
Over 200 images of those photographers will be on display.
The entrance is free, but the visitors can donate money, with the sums being used for the treatment of the photographers injured in the Colectiv blaze.
At the same time, all displayed works will be put up for auction.
