Feel the traditional German Christmas mood at the fair hosted by the Germany’s Embassy in Bucharest

Germany’s Embassy in Bucharest continues the tradition to host a Christmas Fair, announcing the edition of this year will take place in the embassy’s parking (6-8 .Cpt. Av. Ghe. Demetriade street) on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The fair will be officially opened by the German ambassador to Romania, Cord Meier-Klodt, at 16:50.

Visitors will be able to enjoy German traditional sweets and drinks, to listen to German and international carols and to buy gifts.

The music program of the event will be performed by the Bucharest German School’s music band, the children choir of the Bucharest German School, as well as by the choirs of the Goethe College and the Bucharest International Choir.

At the same time, this year the embassy will host a Christmas decorations stall where children can make decorations on the spot.

The German traditional fair will be also a good opportunity for the visitors to be updated about the projects of the NGOs attending the event.

The access is free, while the returns from the sales will be used for charitable purposes.

Tents are set up, Christmas trees are decorated, the stage is ready. Our colleagues are busily packing relish- cakes, gingerbread, cookies, biscuits, while bio decorations are in store for the little ones, but children can also paint cards in the Santa’s shop. The mulled wine cups are also ready,” says the Embassy on its Facebook page.
