Lamb

After its Timișoara edition, the NORDIC FILM FESTIVAL returns with its fourth edition to Bucharest from November 23 to 26. The festival will take place at Cinema Elvire Popesco, located at 77 Dacia Boulevard.
During the four days of the festival, fans of Nordic cinema can enjoy 14 feature films that showcase the diversity and unique aspects of the Nordic region, as seen through the artistic visions of filmmakers from Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden.

Girl Picture

This year’s selection may be the best one so far. We have a rich and diverse program of films that have received awards at international festivals, covering a multitude of genres. Whether you prefer romance (like ‘Girl Picture’) or drama (such as ‘A Perfect Normal Family’ or ‘Backyard Village’), horror (in the case of ‘Lamb’) or historical (like ‘Amundsen’), biographies (such as ‘Sonja: The White Swan’), children’s films (‘Supermarsu 2’), or documentaries (‘Maija Isola’), you will enter an unconventional and captivating cinematic space,” stated Vlad Rotaru, the festival’s artistic director.

  • Thursday– Opening Night
  • Friday – Thriller Night
  • Saturday – Kids Morning & Drama Evening
  • Sunday – Kids Morning & Girl Power Evening

Films have Romanian and English subtitling.

Tickets will be available soon online and at the Cinema Elvire Popesco, 77 Dacia Boulevard.

The festival is held with the support of the embassies of Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden in Bucharest.
