Romanian short “Ramona” selected for Semaine de la Critique at Cannes

Independent short “Ramona” directed by Andrei Cretulescu (photo) was selected for the official competition of Semaine de la Critique section within Cannes International Film Festival. Semaine de la Critique is a parallel section of Cannes, set up in 1962, which is focused on directors at the beginning of their careers.

“Ramona” is actually ending Cretulescu’s trilogy started with “Bad Penny” (2013) and “Kowalski” (2014), starring the same actors. “Ramona” is a totally 100 pc independent short, produced by Andrei Cre?ulescu (Kinosseur), Radu Stancu (deFilm) ?i Claudiu Mitcu (We Are Basca), with co-producers Dan Chisu (DaKino) and Eugen Kelemen (Digital Cube).

Andrei Cretulescu also produced for HBO Romania the first season of “In deriva/ Adrift” series.
