Which foreign artists are performing in Bucharest in March?

Gipsy Kings, Mariza, Richard Clayderman, Nikos Vertis and Godsmack are among the foreign artists to perform in Bucharest in March.

Known for their hits like Djobi, Djoba”, “Bamboleo”, “Volare” or “Escucha me” in the 80s, boasting over 18 million albums sold worldwide and a Grammy for the best record “Savor Flamenco” (2014), Gipsy Kings with Paco Baliardo (the band’s co-founder) are returning to Bucharest for one more show, on March 2, only three months after a sold-out gig at Beraria H.

Famous Portuguese fado diva, Mariza, will return to Romania on March 6. The performance is due at Sala Palatului as of 8 p.m.. Hurry up to buy the last tickets. In less than twelve years, Mariza has risen from a well hidden local phenomenon, known only to a small circle of admirers in Lisbon, to one of the most widely acclaimed stars of the World Music circuit, reads her official website.

Richard Clayderman is another artist returning to Romania. One of the most popular pianists of all times will offer a romantic performance at Sala Palatului on March 20.

An icon of Greek music, Nikos Vertis is also coming back to Romania for two gigs, at Sala Palatului, on March 28 and March 29.

US rock band Godsmack will go on stage at Arenele Romane in the Capital on March 31 and April 1,  Like a Storm band from New Zealand as special guest. Godsmack was born in 1995 and has launched seven studio albums ever since, gaining international recognition in no time. Three of their albums has ranked first in the Billboard 200 chart, “Faceless”, “IV” şi “The Oracle”.
