„La Gomera”, Corneliu Porumboiu’s fifth feature film and Romania’s proposal for Oscars 2020, will hit the theaters in Romania as of Friday, September 13, in 45 cities, with special screenings in Timișoara, Cluj-Napoca, Iași and Constanța.
In Bucharest, the film can be seen at Cinema City AFI Cotroceni, Cinema City Park Lake, Cinema City Sun Plaza, Cinema City Mega Mall, Grand Entertainment Băneasa, Hollywood Multiplex, Movieplex, Cineplexx Titan, Happy Cinema, Peasant Museum Cinema, Cinema „Elvire Popesco” and Cinema Europa.

The film will open the first edition of the Romanian Film Nights in Timisoara on Friday, September 13, with the screening being hosted by Iulius Gardens, from 9 p.m. Director Corneliu Porumboiu and actors Vlad Ivanov, Rodica Lazăr and Julieta Szönyi will attend the screening.
„La Gomera” is also returning to Cluj-Napoca, after it had its preview here at the Transylvania International Film Festival (TIFF), on Saturday, September 14, from 7 p.m., in the presence of Corneliu Porumboiu and actress Catrinel Marlon (Menghia).
Movie lovers in Iasi will have the opportunity Porumboiu and Menghia on September 15 at the Ateneu Cinema in two screenings, at 7p.m. and at 21:30hrs.
“La Gomera” casting crew will attend the screening in Constanta on September 21, at „Jean Constantin” Cinema.
