The National Museum of Romanian Literature, the Embassy of Argentina, the Embassy of Chile, the Embassy of Cuba, the Embassy of Mexico, the Embassy of Peru and the Cervantes Institute in Bucharest invite the Bucharest public to the 4th edition of the Cultural Festival Latin American during September 26-29.
As in previous editions, the program includes a rich series of events: from public readings, film screenings to concerts and exhibitions. For four days, the National Museum of Romanian Literature thus becomes the symbolic space of Latin American culture in Bucharest.
Within the festival, there are two internationally recognized days that the organizers want to celebrate together with the Bucharest public: September 27 – International Tourism Day and September 30 – World Translators’ Day.Traveling to discover another culture, perhaps much different from your own, is a way to discover the other as a mirror that enriches your own experiences – this is the credo of the organizers.
The opening of this year’s edition of the Latin American Cultural Festival will take place on Tuesday, September 26, from 6 p.m., in the Garden of the National Museum of Romanian Literature (Str. Nicolae Crețulescu 8), in the presence of the representatives of the organizers: Ioan Cristescu – general director of of the National Museum of Romanian Literature, Her Excellency, Mrs. Déborah Leticia Ojeda Valedón – Ambassador of Cuba in Romania, Her Excellency, Mrs. María-Pía Busta-Díaz – Ambassador of Chile in Romania, Her Excellency, Mr. Félix Ricardo Americo Antonio Denegri Boza – Ambassador of Peru in Romania, Mr. Javier Ignacio Santander – counselor, Embassy of Argentina in Romania, Mr. Alejandro Omar Vázquez Martínez – Embassy of Mexico in Romania; Moderator: Dinu Flămând.
