Over 140,000 people were standing in a virtual “queue” on Friday at 12:00hrs to buy tickets to the Metallica concert in Bucharest in 2026, after two pre-sales had already taken place, on Tuesday and Thursday, with tens of thousands more people in virtual queues.
Tickets officially went on sale on Friday at 10 a.m. From the first minutes, the queue numbered tens of thousands of people. Ticket prices for the Metallica concert are quite high.
Organizers have started to introduce dynamic ticket pricing, depending on the demand for tickets for a certain sector.
“According to the Emagic terms and conditions, valid for any event of this organizer, ticket prices may vary depending on the demand for certain areas and the number of available seats,” explained iaBilet. On Tuesday and Thursday, when tickets were put on sale in the pre-sales, the queues were over 30,000 people.
Metallica’s M72 World Tour kicked off this year in the United States and will reach Europe in 2026. Metallica’s first European concert is scheduled for May 9 in Athens. The next concert, on May 13, will take place in Bucharest.
Metallica then arrives in Chorzów, Poland, on May 19th. After a few shows in Germany, Switzerland, and Italy, Metallica return to the region and will have two shows in Budapest, on June 11th and 13th.
