Photographers around the world invited to take a snapshot of Barcelona

Photography avids have the opportunity of taking a little glimpse of wonderful Barcelona this autumn.

After the great success of the five editions of Discover Krakow, Let me Italian you will launch the first edition of DISCOVER BARCELONA, an innovative project whose purpose is to make the participants live a professional experience for those who love photography and video making.

The project aims at capitalizing and promoting the magic Spanish city of Barcelona, through photos, coverage, videos shot by photographers from all around the world. DISCOVER BARCELONA wants to enrich the professional and academic path of the young photographer, moreover it wants to enrich his portfolio.

DISCOVER BARCELONA is supported by Instituto Italiano de Cultura de Barcelona.

The tour of the center is organized in collaboration with a local Spanish guide, who has the role to let discover and know all the beauties of the famous Gaudi’s city thanks to guided tours. Furthermore, agenda will be enriched with the visit of the most beautiful sites: Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo, Parc de Montjuïc, Fuente, Parc Guell.

The photo competition will comprise four workshops: Workshop “Street Photography” organized by the famous Institut D’Estudis fotografics de Catalunya;  Workshop “Food Photography” organized by the photographer Henry Fabian from Ecuador; Workshop “Portrait Photography” organized by the photographer La Cristina from Barcelona and Wokshop “Fashion Photography” organized by the photographers Lluïsa Viladoms y Lluís Oliver.

The task of participant is to take photos of Barcelona’s beauties during each guided tours. You will work alone or in pair (your fellow could be one your friend). The project lasts 5 days.
