Romania to set up stand at Jerusalem International Arts and Crafts Fair

Romania will set up its own stand at the 39th edition of the Khutsot Hayotser Jerusalem International Arts and Crafts Fair, to be hosted by Jerusalem, August 11-23, in the tourist area near the Old City, the Romanian Cultural Institute (ICR) in Tel Aviv reported on Friday.
The Romanian stand will present information about traditional arts and crafts, in cooperation with the Museum of the Romanian Peasant and Dimitrie Gusti Village Museum in Bucharest and with the support of the Embassy of Romania to the State of Israel and TAROM Romanian Air Transport. The Khutsot Hayotser Jerusalem International Arts&Crafts Fair is the largest and most important event of its kind organised in Israel, each edition bringing together more than 150 Israeli artists and 30-40 international stands, that display handicraft objects made using the most diverse techniques, from the traditional ones to the modern manufacturing technologies, limited series or one-of-a-kind products. Also, during the fair there are organized workshops, live demonstrations as well as music, dance and unconventional theatre performances, together with an international culinary festival. The event is very appreciated by the Israeli public, the approximate number of visitors for each edition being 100.000.
