The CSIC (Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas// Superior Council for Scientific Research) of the Kingdom of Spain, through the Embassy of Spain in Bucharest, organizes the exhibition “Science after FORGES”, at the Galateca Gallery in Bucharest, between December 12, 2024 and January 8, 2025.

In addition to excellent scientific research, the CSIC has a firm social commitment: promoting universal access to knowledge with an emphasis on scientific knowledge.

Antonio Fraguas de Pablo “Forges” is one of the most famous graphic columnists in Spain in the last fifty years, and his drawings and caricatures about science, scientists and the discoveries of humanity constitute an important part of his career in the press.

The exhibition presented here brings together a series of caricatures published in the newspaper El País between 1995 and 2018.

The exhibition can be visited from Tuesday to Friday, between 12:00 and 20:00 and on Saturdays between 11:00 and 19:00. The development and production of this project belongs entirely to the Embassy of Spain in Bucharest.
