“My life was the day” stage play, inspired by the work of national Romanian poet Mihai Eminescu will be performed at the poet’s grave in Bellu Cemetery in Bucharest. The event is due on Monday, June 15, starting 5 p.m., when 126 years since his death are commemorated.
The performance is directed and staged by Vasile Toma, offering a special journey in Eminescu’s universe, where the spectator will actually find himself.
The show was performed by 15 times at Podul Student Theater in Bucharest, starting with 2013-2014 season. Now the troupe is reaching the alternative, unconventional space, inviting the audience right at the poet’s grave on the Writers Alley in Bellu Cemetery.
