Republika and Forum Film Romania are preparing the launch of the latest movie from the „The Hunger Games” series.
This new adaptation of the trilogy has a communication strategy that integrates a series of activities taking place both in online and offline, according to a press release.
The communication campaign prepared by Republika and Forum Film Romania invite the Romanians to join the “uprising” started by Katniss Everdeen, the main character of the trilogy.
The “revolution” will begin in Romania by accessing the online app “Hunger Games – The Uprising”, implemented by Republika. With this app, fans can join Katniss’ rebellion and show their enthusiasm towards the third part of this movie. By performing all the tasks in the application, the participants can win various prizes, worthy of a true revolutionary. Meanwhile, the “rebellion” can be also planned on www.filmuljocurilefoamei.ro.
Those who are curious to learn more about the rebellion can discover District 13, the underground district where Katniss and her allies plan the fight against the Capitol. The secret entrance of District 13 is located in Bucharest, in front of Unirea Shopping Center, at the crossroads of Unirii and I.C. Bratianu boulevards. There, the Bucharesters will have the opportunity to take a look at the entrance of District 13, which is illustrated in a unique way via a 3D painting. The painting has been realized by painters Daniel and Catalin Relenschi.
The communication campaign for the movie “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1” was launched at the beginning of November and the application has raised more than 1650 users only a couple of days after its launch. The movie will be available in Romania starting November 21st.
