Bucharest Opera Festival – All Puccini Edition, June 7-16

Puccini’s centenary year is celebrated at the Bucharest National Opera through the third edition of the Bucharest Opera Festival, which will take place between June 7-16, 2024.

Bucharest Opera Festival – All Puccini Edition has on the bill during the 10 evenings of the festival, no less than 8 productions from the creation of the great composer, a semi-staged show, an opera gala and 10 theaters: the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest, Daegu Festival Opera from Korea, Romanian National Opera Iasi, Romanian National Opera from Cluj Napoca, Romanian National Opera Timisoara, Hungarian Opera from Cluj-Napoca, “Oleg Danovski” National Opera and Ballet Theater from Constanta, Brasov Opera, Opera Theater and Operetta “Nae Leonard” from Galati and, of course, the National Opera from Bucharest.

Over 1,500 musicians, dancers, artistic and technical staff will be present on stage, in the pit and behind the scenes at the Bucharest Opera Festival – All Puccini Edition. A festival that brings to Bucharest the most important opera and ballet theaters in Romania and beyond, giving the public the opportunity to experience diverse cultural journeys.
