The stage of Theatre on Lipscani is to host the first play performed by the Russian artists within the fifth edition of the „The Russian Culture Days” in Romania. Tonight, November 3, at 7 pm, the theatre goers are invited at the performance „Several days from the life of Ms. Liuba Otradina” after the Russian playwright A.N. Ostrovski.
The second show, „Leaves from a burnt notebook” (sketches about Sergei Esenin and his women), is scheduled on November 4, at 7pm.
Both plays are directed by Pavel Tihomirov whilst the casting gathers Russian actors from several theaters based in Moscow.

The Russian Culture Days are organized by the Russian Center in Bucharest, the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bucharest and the Federal Agency “Rossotrudnicestvo” and is aimed at bringing various forms of art into the limelight – theater, painting, traditional art from Northen Russia, cinematography – between November 3 and 30, 2015.
