Traffic will be restricted in Constitutiei Square, Bucharest starting Monday night until August 21 due to several concerts, including the ones performed by Rihanna, Sia and many other artists.
“During August 8, at midnight until August 21, at midnight, the road traffic is restricted on the third lane adjacent to the Constitutiei Square, on Unirii Boulevard. During August 8 until August 21, the traffic will be restricted on Libertatii Boulevard, on the first lane out Natiunile Unite Boulevard towards Calea 13 Septembrie,” reads a notice by the Bucharest traffic police.
Traffic restrictions will be on August 15-15, during 12:00 to 01:00 on Unirii Boulevard on both ways, between I.C. Bratianu and Libertatii boulevards and on Libertatii Boulevard between Calea 13 Septembrie and Natiunile Unite boulevard.
On August 17, from 2 p.m. until August 18, 5 a.m., traffic will be closed on Unirii Boulevard on both ways, between I.C. Bratianu and Libertatii boulevards and on Libertatii Boulevard, between Calea 13 Septembrie and Natiunile Unite Boulevard.
Traffic policemen recommend drivers overland routes, from Ghencea Boulevard, through Calea 13 Septembrie- Tudor Vladimirescu boulevard-George Cosbuc boulevard-Regina Maria boulevard-Unirii Square or Calea 13 Septembrie –Izvor st. –B.P. Haşdeu st. –Vasile Pârvan blvd –Ştirbei Vodă st.; from Alba Iulia Square, through Unii blvd- I.C. Brătianu blvd – Splaiul Independenţei –B.P. Haşdeu Bridge –B.P. Haşdeu st – Izvor st. –Arsenalului Square – Calea 13 Septembrie.”
Rihanna will perform in Constitutiei Square on August 14. DJ Steve Aoki will tread the boards on August 15, while it will be Sia, Selah Sue,Fallulah and Oh Land’s turn on August 17.
