The Cluj firefighters fined the organizers of the UNTOLD 2023 festival for blocking the access routes to the Cluj Arena stadium to the concert of the American band Imagine Dragons, according to the local publication Cluj24.
Las Vegas band Imagine Dragons took to the stage on the second day of the UNTOLD 2023 festival, and organizers boasted a record attendance: 115,000 people. Several people complained that they were left out even though they had paid for a ticket.
The number of people who were at Arena Cluj was double the one approved by ISU Cluj, which was 63,800 people. ISU Cluj sanctioned the organizers with a fine of 2,500 lei for blocking the access roads, the amount being paid on the same day.
The Cluj Gendarmerie announced last Tuesday that, after the emergence of controversies related to the concert held by the trapper Gabriel Gavriş, known as the Gheboasa, that it had fined him for uttering insults, offensive or vulgar expressions, likely to disturb public order and tranquility or cause citizens’ indignation or harm their dignity and honor. Also, following the performance at the Untold festival, the National Council for Combating Discrimination was notified.
