The Traditional Products Fair
The fair will be held between 15th and 18th of October 2014 at Romexpo Exhibition Center, The Merchants Alley.
Visitors can taste and buy: Romanian authentic products from Transylvania, Maramures, Bucovina and Muntenia, traditional handmade recipes : from smoked sausages, grandmother’s pickles, roasted chestnuts, organic honey, jams, cakes and homemade chocolate, hazelnuts and almonds pralines, glazed apples, the famous Topoloveni jam ( the only Romanian traditional product , EU-certified), delicate wines, homemade bread, zacusca (vegetable stew) , homemade cheese, sheep cheese to handicrafts.
Ostrov, The New Wine Festival
”The New Wine Festival “ will take place between 17-19 October, at Ostrov Isle (1 Reginei st., Constanta county)
Over 1000 participants from Romania but also from Bulgaria, Italy, France, Turkey and Israel are expected to attend the event.
There will be folk and pop performances. Baraganul Ensemble, Borcea Ensemble, Avila Ensemble – Aromanian music, traditional music singers from Dobrogea – Lia lungu, Mariana Birica, Bulgarian folk music ensembles (RITAM, RETPO, CIAR) are due to perform.
There will be traditional Romanian dishes: fried lamb, stew (tochitura), goat pastrami and sausages.
The event will be presented by artist Razvan Oprea and travel journalist and consultant Traian Badulescu (Innovation Travel).
We will see His Highness Paul of Romania and Princess Lia, Marian Neagu, director of Lower Danube from Calarasi , Razvan Ciuca, director of Wine Museum – Ostrov, sommeliers Marian Timofte and George Ignat among the guests.
On this occasion, a new assortment of wine will be launched, under the name of Istros.
Tea & Coffee Festival 2014
The 6th Edition of “Tea & Coffe Festival 2014” takes place between 13-19 of October, in Bucharest.
The festival includes ten events in cafes and tea houses in Bucharest and an exhibition of tea, coffee and accessories. The exhibition will take place from October 16 to 19 at the University Square statue.
This festival promotes tea and coffee consumption, blending the serving ceremony with their decorative and visual arts.
Visitors are invited to concerts, demonstrations and dance workshops, visual art workshops, serving tea and coffee ceremonies, practiced in India, North Korea, Japan, England, Italy, Brazil , Turkey and Greece.

Timisoara, Baroque Festival!
“The Baroque Festival” takes place during 13-19 of October in Timisoara.
A series of events will be held on the occasion of the anniversary of some important personalities who lived between eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, celebrated both nationally (Anton Pann) and internationally (Jean Phillipe Rameau).
