„Wings”, the first film festival organized by the Russian Centre in Romania

„Wings”, the first international film festival organized by the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Romania. The event is due at Eforie Cinema in Bucharest (2 Eforie street) during March 21-26, with Romania as guest of honor. The embassies of the CSI states in Romania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia are attending the festival.

The attendees will present feature films, documentaries and animation films, most of them with Romanian and English subtitle. The films are ranging from comedies, thrillers and mystery up to animation movies for children. Romania will present two documentary films about the national minorities living here, as well as a feature film.

The festival opens with a Russian-Armenian production „The earthquake”, released in 2016, recounting abou the earthquake in Armenia in 1988.

Art connects the world” is the slogan of the film festival, whose partners are ArtViva and the National Film Archives.
