The “Sun’s children” exhibition, part of the “Wolf ticket” project executed through series of expeditions and shootings executed between 2010 and 2014 in Siberia and the Republic of Moldova, includes a selection of photos taken in the aforementioned regions.
The works, signed by Veaceslav Cebotari, Ionu? Pi?urescu, Augustin Bucur, Andrei R?dulescu, Mihai ?uc?, C?t?lin Dobre and Manuela Morar, are to be seen starting on Wednesday, November 5, 6 p.m., at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Bucharest.
There will be a double event: the screening of “Matirik – continent” documentary and the opening of the “Sun’s children” exhibition. The short projection, the docu-story “Matirik – continent” (20min), presents Vasile Kovaliov, the lastMoldovan roots survivor of the Kolyma severe regime hutment, while on holiday at home, “on the mainland”, alongside his relatives.
Visitors’ access is free, within the available seats’ limit. The exhibition can be visited at the Romanian Cultural Institute in Bucharest until November 7.
