On May 17-18, Romexpo turns into the ultimate entertainment circuit: Auto Total Business Show (ATBS) promises the hottest weekend for car enthusiasts from all over the country! Cutting-edge technology, spectacular competitions, sports demonstrations, and live concerts — all in a unique blend of auto show, urban festival, and tech hub. Organizer: AD Auto Total.
ATBS 2025 is an event dedicated both to professionals in the automotive industry and to car enthusiasts, as well as the general public. Over the course of two days, visitors will enjoy intense experiences: gravity-defying drifts, live technical demonstrations, spectacularly tuned cars, launches of cutting-edge products and equipment, and unique activations that will turn every corner of Romexpo into a show zone. Admission is free, with access between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
Drifting, a spectacular sport combining speed, precision and absolute control, is set to be the main attraction at ATBS 2025, under the RoDrift guidance. Among the first confirmed names are the next generation of drivers — the Street Kids. At just 10 years old, Alexis Stan stands out as one of Romania’s youngest and most promising drift drivers, an exceptional talent with remarkable maturity behind the wheel. Joining him are Albert Ciotu (13 years old), a SemiPRO driver and former national karting champion, as well as Alexei Manea (13), and two debutantes — Vanessa Manea (11) and Adelina Ionescu (12) — two fresh presences promising to bring new energy to the competition. The juniors will perform in spectacular sessions alongside renowned names from Romanian motorsport. The first to confirm: Răzvan Stan, who last year at ATBS delivered a memorable moment by performing the first father-son drift tandem with his son, Alexis. “That first tandem together was… the greatest prize I’ve ever received. If I could give you one thing in life, it would be the ability to see yourself through my eyes,” said Răzvan Stan at the time.
ATBS 2025 brings the tuning competition back into the spotlight — a segment dedicated to the passion for automotive design, customization, and visual expression, supported by Jurilov Cars. Only cars falling within clearly defined tuning categories will be admitted into the contest: Car Audio, Expo Car, Drag Racing, Hill Climb, Drift, Retro Mobil (minimum 30 years old), Rat Style, Pandem Car, Off-Road, Super/Hyper Car or Moto. Among the competition’s categories are: Limbo — the ultimate finesse and control test, where cars must pass under the lowest possible limbo bar; Loudest Pipe — dedicated to exhaust systems with the most powerful acoustic impact; Lowest Air Ride — where it’s all about how low an air suspension can drop; Lowest Static — reserved for fixed suspensions, with no adjustments, positioned at extreme lows and Air Ride Battle — a spectacular duel between two air-ride cars, judged by the audience based on visual performance. Registrations open starting April 17 at www.atbs.ro.
The ATBS stage heats up even more on Saturday, May 17, with the day’s first special guest, Mihai Mărgineanu. A live show packed with hits, sprinkled with renditions of famous interwar-era songs. The artistic program continues on Saturday with the infectious energy of Tibi Scobiola and his band, in a set of famous cover songs, and on Sunday, May 18, with entertaining moments delivered by Fără Zahăr.
The Central Pavilion hosts over 130 stands from auto parts and accessories manufacturers, transforming the space into a hub for innovation, where automotive industry leaders (from original parts manufacturers to aftermarket specialists) present the newest technologies. The exhibition offers a fully interactive experience, complemented by demonstrations, activities, and live contests. From advanced propulsion systems to smart safety solutions, the Central Pavilion becomes the scene for technical excellence, where visitors can interact directly with the technology and the experts behind it.
Gabriel Zane, Marketing Director for Auto Total: „Auto Total Business Show is about the future – about the courage to change things, to bring people together, ideas and passions that move an entire industry. It is about learning, competing, experimenting and having fun together.”
At last year’s edition, Auto Total Business Show registered over 40,000 spectators. This year, the visiting program is on Saturday and Sunday, 17-18 May, between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM. Access is free.
