Romania’s national men’s basketball team defeated Kosova away 79-75 Sunday evening, in Pristina, in a match counting for the prequalification group B of FIBA EuroBasket 2021.
The Romanian team won the second and fourth quarters. The victory was sealed in the last minutes, as Romania came from behind (68-70) to win 79-75.
In the home match, Romania won 88-83.
In the standings, Macedonia leads with 7 points, followed by Romania – 7 points, Kosovo – 4. Macedonia has qualified to the EuroBarket 2021 qualifying round.
Romania will play in the third phase of pre-qualifications in a group with Cyprus and Slovakia in August. The group’s winner will reach the EuroBasket 2021 qualifying round.
