Champions League, women’s handball: CSM Bucharest defeats Thuringer HC 38-30

Romanian women’s handball champions CSM Bucharest defeated away Thuringer HC (Germany) 38-30 (17-12) away, on Sunday, in Champions League Group 2.

The hosts led 2-0 and 4-2, but CSM leveled the score 4-4 and then took control of the game, leading 12-8 and 17-12 at halftime.

The second half was dominated by the Romanian champions, with goal differences of 22-16, 26-20 and 32-25. The final score was 38-30.

CSM Bucharest is currently second in the group’s standings with 10 points, behind Gyor ETO – 13 points, followed by Vipers 8 points, Ferencvaros 7, Krim Ljubljana 3 and Thuringer 1.
