The women’s epee team Romania won the silver medals at the World Cup stage in Legnano (Italy) on Sunday, being defeated by Russia in the final 42-30.
Romania, consisting Ana-Maria Popescu (Branza), Simona Gherman, Simona Pop, defeated Japan in the last sixteen stage 38-34, Sweden in the quarter-finals 45-37, and France 36-31 in the semi-finals, Agerpres informs.
The US team was ranked third after defeating France 28-22 in the match for places 3-4.
