The national women’s handball team of Romania registered a third defeat on Sunday in the Golden League tournament, against Denmark, after a very poor game, especially in the second half. Final score: Denmark 36 Romania 23.
On Saturday, Romania was defeated by Norway 27-31 (15-16), after the first match lost two days ago against France.
Romania came from behind in the first half and was inches away from leveling the score at halftime. In the second half it player better and led the match for some time, but in the last ten minutes the game became poorer, with lots of opportunities missed, so that Norway won 31-27.
In December, in Group D of the European Championship in France, Romania defeated Norway 31-23.
