Simona Halep, nominated by WTA at the shot of the month

A point won by Simona Halep in the second round of Eastbourne tournament, played against Chinese player Ying-Ying Duan, was nominated by the WTA at the June shot of the month.

The point was played at 3-6, 6-3, 1-1 and advantage for Duan. Halep won the match 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.

For the June shot of the month are also nominated, Petra Krejsova (Czech Republic), Petra Kvitova (Czech Republic), Lucie Safarova (Czech Republic) and Caroline Wozniacki (Denmark).
