Romanian men’s handball national team has qualified for the final round of the 2018 European Championship qualifiers on Sunday after defeating Israel 32-21 (17-10) in Calarasi in the second leg of the play-off.
The draw of the preliminary group will be held on April 14, Dubrovnik (Croatia). There will be seven groups of four teams each and the first two teams and the best third placed team will qualify to the final tournament scheduled in Croatia during January 12-28, 2018.
The men’s national handball team defeated Israel 30-27 (13-15) on Wednesday evening at Tel Aviv in the first leg of the play-off for qualification in the second phase of the 2018 European Championship qualifiers.
