Răzvan Burleanu (photo 1) has been re-elected on Wednesday as President of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) by 168 votes ‘for’ against 78 votes for the main counter-candidate Ionut Lupescu.
Razvan Burleanu, 33, has savoured the victory by saying he had emotions.
“I thank all opponents for their participation, I thank my team, you have been firm, righteous. I am proud to be part of this team, of this family. Finally, I admit, although it hasn’t been easy, I’ve destroyed them,” Burleanu said.

Marcel Puscas received only 8 votes.
