Rio Olympics: Romanian athletes results on day 11

The 11^th day of the Rio Olympic Games was another poor day for Romanian athletes.

• Wresting – Alin Alexuc Ciurariu ranked 5^th in men’s Greco-Roman 98 kg, being defeated by Cenk Idlem (Turkey), whereas Iulian Panait was eliminated in the 66 kg first round.
• Gymnastics – Andrei Muntean ranked 6^th in men’s parallel bars with 15.600 mark. Gold went to Oleg Verniayev (Ukraine) with 16.041.
• Athletics – Alina Rotaru failed to qualify from Group A long jump, ranking 11^th.
