Romanian tennis player Simona Halep (26, 1st WTA) has a contract with Nike as technical sponsor, but also has a deal with Mercedes-Benz. Simona has always driven the famous brand’s cars, and will continue to do so. A few days before, Halep was announced she will receive the latest model of the car manufacturer, a Mercedes AMG GT ER Coupe, a sports car dedicated to champions, produced in 2018, digisport.ro reports.
The car to be owned by Simona Halep is unique in Romania, costs EUR 190,000 without VAT. The supercar reaches the maximum speed of 315 km/h, reaches 100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and has a 66-litre petrol tank.
Simona Halep signed a partnership with Mercedes-Benz Romania in 2017, and this collaboration brings her a supermodel every year. She received a Mercedes AMG SL63 car last year.
