Romanian swimmer Robert Glinta, 22, has won on Sunday a second medal in the 50 backstroke event, in the first FINA Champions Swim Series circuit, worth USD 3 million, of the International Swimming Federation.
He registered 24.59 seconds, a new national record. The gold medal was won by Kliment Koleshnikov (Russia) by 1/100 seconds.
On Saturday Glinta won the bronze medal in the 100 metres backstroke, which brought him the qualification to the Olympic Games in 2020.
For winning the two medals, Robert Glinta will cash awards worth USD 14,000.
