Tennis: Simona Halep remains 4th in WTA rankings

According to the WTA rankings for women tennis players released on Monday, Romanian player Simona Halep is 4^th with 5,257 points, after Angelique Kerber, Serena Williams and Agneszka Radwanska.

Halep, eliminated at Shenzhen Open in the last sixteen round, is 163 points behind the third position and ahead by 287 points of the fifth position – Karolina Pliskova (Czech Republic).

Irina Begu is ranked 30^th, Monica Niculescu is on the 40^th position and Sorana Carstea on the 78^th.

In the doubles, Monica Niculescu is on the 19^th place, Raluca Olaru on the 64^th and Andreea Mitu on the 88^th.
