The transfer of footballer Ianis Hagi, 20, to Spartak Moscow seems to become concrete. Following the Russian journalists’ news about the interest of the Russian football club in Ianis Hagi, now there is information that the negotiations are going on. It seems that Spartak has already made a concrete offer and the amount is higher than EUR 10 million, digisport.ro informs.
If it is to be completed, Ianis Hagi will become the most expensive transfer in League 1, surpassing the Nicuşor Stanciu, who was transferred three years ago for EUR 9.8 million to Anderlecht.
Spartak sent a written transfer offer to Viitorul football club of EUR 12 million, according to ‘Gazeta Sporturilor’.
Viitorul Constanta President, football legend Gheorghe Popescu, admits Ianis Hagi has received offers from Spartak Moscow as well as from Barcelona. The transfer offer from Barcelona was turned down because the Spanish team wanted to buy the player and loan him to another club.
“The interest from Spartak is real. There is also interest from Barcelona, we’ve had talks, however the project envisaged by Barcelona is not interesting for us, they would loan Ianis. Ianis has reached a high level, this is seen from the interest shown by valuable teams,” Gheorghe Popescu said.
