Victor Ionita is the new coach of Romanian tennis player Simona Halep for 2015 season. Theodor Cercel will be her fitness coach. “Swedish Thomas Högstedt will join Simona’s team as adviser coach as of January 2015 for the Shenzhen, Sydney and Australian Open de la Melbourne tours,” Halep’s manager, Virginia Ruzici informed in a press release.
Victor Ionita was Sorana Cirstea’s coach, while former tennis player Thomas Högstedt also coached Caroline Wozniacki, Maria ?arapova and Li Na.
At the beginning of November, Simona Halep announced she ended collaboration with Belgian coach Wim Fissette.
