The Romanian wrestler Alin Alexuc Ciurariu has won the bronze medal on Saturday after defeating Heiki Nabi (Estonia) in the 130 kilograms (Greek-Roman) category at the European Wrestling Championships taking place in the Polyvalent Hall in Bucharest.
This is the second bronze medal at the European Championships for the Romanian athlete after the one won last year at Kaspiisk (Russia).
So far, Romania has won four medals at the European Championships in Bucharest: bronze – Andreea Beatrice Ana (women’s wrestling – 55 kg), silver – Kriszta Incze (women’s wrestling – 65 kg), silver – Florin Tiara (Greek-Roman – 55 kg) and bronze – Alin Alexuc Ciurariu (Greek-Roman – 130 kg).
