According to the representatives of the car manufacturer in Mioveni, on the occasion of a test drive organized in Greece for Romanian journalists, and the new Duster will be sold in three versions: Essential, Comfort and Prestige.
The second generation of the Romanian SUV will be sold in Romania for prices ranging from EUR 12,350 to EUR 18,750, ziare.com informs.
The price for the Essential version starts at EUR 12,350 (VAT included) and increases depending on the type of motor, reaching over EUR 16,000 (VAT included). In the case of the Comfort level, the prices range between EUR 13,400 and EUR 17,100 (VAT included), with the highest price for Prestige of EUR 18,750.
The Access model will be sold in France for less than EUR 12,000 because less than 1% of the clients have chosen this low cost model in Romania in recent years.
The new Duster will have engines on petrol SCe 115 HP (for the 4×2 version) and TCe 125 HP (for 4×2 and 4×4 versions) with manual gearbox.
The diesel offer includes the dCi 90 HP for the 4×2 version and dCi 110 HP for the 4×2 and 4×4 versions, combined with a manual gearbox. The dCi 110 hp engine (for the 4×2 version) can be equipped with an EDC double clutch automatic gearbox.
First launched under the Dacia brand, Duster is sold since 2011 and under the Renault brand in Latin America (Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Chile and Colombia) as well as in Russia and India. Until now, Duster has been sold in over two million units in more than one hundred countries under the two brands.
