Several concerts, a car parade, an exhibition of antiques and an art and fishing festival are some of the events that will take place during the May 1 holiday in the Romanian seaside resorts.
The season begins on May 1 with a parade of Romanian seaside, which will bring together storey buses, Seawolves motorcycles, retro cars from Retromobil Club Constanta and drift cars from Smart Driving Series. The event, organized by the Litoral – Delta Dunarii Association, takes place between 16.00 – 19.00 on the route Mamaia – Constanta and back.
Also, during the May 1 miniholiday, club and beach parties will take place in Mamaia resort: the Sunwaves electronic music festival, a Skrillex concert in the Enigma Beach area, The Mission 2nd of May with Luciano, Cesar Merveille, Ernesto Ferreyra, Ezikiel, Felipe Valenzuela, Gianni Callipari, Julietta, also in the Enigma Beach area.
Moreover, storeyed buses will run over April 30 to May 3, between 10.00 – 20.00. They will have a frequency of 45 minutes, departures taking place from Constanta train station and heading to Mamaia, then returning to the same place. The ticket price is RON 5.
Another tourist attraction is the Gondola in Mamaia, which will operate on May 1 – 3, between 10.00 – 20.00. The cost of a trip is RON 20 and children under seven years old and people with disabilities will have free entrance.
The events will take place also in other seaside resorts. Thus, in Eforie Sud, the “Antica Collectors Fair” takes place in Eforie Sud resort this weekend. The exhibition of antiques will take place in the City Hall Park and is open from 8.00 to 20.00. In Eforie Nord, on May 1, “Sailors Open Day” a nautical-themed event is due in Eforie Marina, including sea journeys, wine tasting and a “Trupa Veche” concert.
The “Yacht Party”, another nautical-themed event is due in Limanu Marina, near Mangalia,with 200 people going on sea trips, divided into three series, all day on May 1st.
“Fisheye Fest”, festival of art and fishing is taking place in Vama Veche, on May 1 and 2.
