Sometimes are harder to access, sometimes are not promoted enough, but the important part is that the selected places use to guarantee some space around the travelers, in the water or on its shore.
The summer leave usually comes together with crowds, especially when everybody wants to run away from the heat in the cities and to find a spot in chill places, at the mountain side or in the sea air. - Bolata Beach – Bulgaria
Located at approx. 60 km from „Vama Veche”, the Bolata Beach on the Black Sea coast is part of the same name gulf and a natural reservation statute. As there is no public transport, the personal (or rented) car is necessary, and the road is reaching close to the beach (even if the last 2-3 km are dirt road). During the summer weekends this place can become crowded, but during the week days it is a good option for those searching for a quiet place, nearby. There is also a small path to the top of the hill that forms the gulf, a place where the sunrise pictures will be envied by lots of followers. There are no facilities, therefore it is important to bring everything needed (and take it back afterwards, as there is no cleaning staff).

- Gardenos – Corfu, Greece
Even though there is a functional road that gets close to the beach, the fact that this area is not included in many of the tourist agencies offers makes the crowds aim to the other areas of the island. The golden sand beach and the clear Ionian sea water attract those in search for silence without totally avoiding the civilization. The nearby restaurants and hotels are making this location suitable for families with children, as they will be able to find everything they need in a relatively short amount of time.

- Cala Pregonda – Menorca, Spain
This Spanish islands` beaches have become very popular during the last years, but there still are some less crowded areas, especially where the commercial exploitation lacks, especially if the visit is during a week day. In order to reach to this beach it is necessary to walk around 30 mins but the difficulty level is low, therefore we dared to include it in this section of our list. There are no restaurants or other facilities, therefore the backpack stuffed will all the needed things is mandatory.

Top 3 locations harder to get to
- Seitan Limania Beach – Crete, Greece
The Crete Island enjoys many incredible beaches, but a part of them are situated in some hard to get to places, without public transport. Renting a car and exploring the whole island is the best advice one can apply in the Crete holiday, even if just to get closer to the Seitan beach. We use ”closer” because there is a part of about 15 minutes of walking with trustful footwear (not flip flops) in order to get down to the small gulf with clear water. There is no restaurant or hotel in the nearby, but the sightseeing makes up for it.

- Praia da Ponta Ruiva – Algarve, Portugal
The Algarve region in south Portugal is far from being considered hidden, but there still are some beaches where is harder to get to, so they can allow enough space around the tourists who are daring to get there. Praia da Ponta Ruiva is situated at approx. 7 km from Vila do Bispo and reaching that can be done only with 4×4 engine cars due to its dirt road. The tourists who enjoy walking will be able to get there in approx. 90 min, if they will not find any nice driver to cut the distance.

- Nugal Beach – Makarska, Croatia
The Croatian beaches have become more and more popular during the last years, and this makes it harder to find less crowded places. The Nugal Beach is part of the natural park Osejava, near Makarska, and it is accessible only to those who dare to cross the forest for about 40 mins, but the sightseeing is superb, besides the shadow. There are no restaurants or any other facilities either, so the backpack and proper footwear are very important.
