Tiki, a small holiday village located on Venice Beach, Iasi

Ciric Lake also known as Venice Lake is an artificial barrier lake in the Moldavian Plain on the north-eastern part of Iasi. It is built on the Ciric River. Tiki Village is located on Ciric Street, on Venice lakeside. Tiki Village is a unique destination in Iasi, where fun and nature combine harmoniously. As a curiosity, tiki means the first man in Native Amerindian culture.

It is an original concept that brings about an interesting story. Inspired by Asian cultures, the places where they spent their holidays and the passion for travel and faraway civilizations, the shareholders wanted to bring in Iasi a piece of what they have experienced, namely the beaches, culture and natural parks in Thailand, Cambodia, Bali, Vietnam and Singapore.

The place was cleaned, they planted trees, vegetation and grass, and everything was done in collaboration with the Romanian Waters and they also respected the wild beauty of the area. A very important element is that this project didn’t involve any deforestation. One of the first measures was enriching fauna, the area comprises  now many birds species specific for the delta, namely, wild duck, woodcock, gray heron, dwarf heron, coot, marsh hen, kingfisher. All materials used are authentic (wood, reeds, sand) 100% natural. Reed is brought directly from Danube Delta, sand from the Black Sea, Siret and Prut and the totems are hand carved from solid wood logs by famous sculptors, who also worked in South America. The concept is inspired by the cultures in Indochina and Polynesia islands, starting with the name up to the bylaw.

Tiki Village offers you long relaxing walks, splashing and sunbathing at Tiki Beach, but also other activities that include swimming pools, kayak, bicycle, boat, boards or the Hawaiian bar.
