What destinations Romanians prefer for this New Year’s Eve?

The charter and scheduled flights that take Romanians to the destinations where they will spend their New Year’s holiday are scheduled and there is no risk of disrupting the calendar set for the last week of the year, announces the tour operator Paralela 45.

The information comes amid the cancellation of over 8,000 Global flights during the Christmas period, due to infection of airline crews, which disrupted the year-end journeys of more than one million passengers.

If airlines sometimes cancel flights, the agencies do not cancel anything in advance, only if the country shuts down for tourism. Charter flights and scheduled flights from the last week of the year to holiday destinations are carried out in accordance with the contracts signed with the airlines. We have no reason to cancel. Romanian tourists do not have to worry, some of them have already arrived in the Maldives, Dubai, others will arrive in other destinations these days. Our concern is to complete all the formalities for departure, to have a safe vacation“, says Alin Burcea, CEO Paralela 45.

Between December 27 and 30, planes take off for Hurghada from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, Timisoara, Baia Mare, to Sharm el Sheikh from Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca and Timisoara, to Madeira from Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca, to Dubai, Antalya, Zanzibar, Dominican Republic, Republic of Cape Verde, Maldives in Bucharest, with more than 3,000 Romanians who chose these destinations for their New Year’s holiday. They are joined by more than 500 tourists who have bought circuit programs in Istanbul, Athens, Paris, French Riviera, Prague Malta, Portugal, Lisbon, Barcelona, Costa del Sol, Valencia, Tunisia, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Egypt, which organized by the travel  agency.

The tour operator assists each tourist in completing the destination access form and guide them in conducting PCR tests. Pre-travel testing is carried out with priority and at negotiated prices in clinics with which the agency has national partnerships. In the destination, for the return to Romania from non-EU countries, the test can be performed at local clinics or directly at the hotel, the procedures being established since the beginning of December.

The travel agency calls on tourists to buy Covid and STORNO extended health insurance for their holiday, so that it is safe regardless of the situation.
